We booked a mini-bus to transport out-of-town guests to and from 2 hotels (Homewood Suites and Hotel Duval) and our wedding venue, The Woman's Club. I was quoted $85/hour over the phone and reassured that I would not be billed for the idle time in between, and received reservation confirmation emails showing that each trip, from pickup to dropoff, would be 1 hour. As such, I expected to be billed for 2 hours. When I saw that I was billed for 4 hours, I called their accounting department to clarify. I spoke with William Gallant, who curtly told me that all of their calls are recorded and that they have a recording indicating that I agreed to 2 hours each way, which I am nearly certain I didn't and doesn't make sense because it takes maybe 20 minutes to get from the Parkway Homewood Suites to the Duval and Woman's Club. He also said my guests took a long time to board the mini-bus so it is unclear whether I'm being billed for a lengthy boarding or for an alleged oral agreement, and he asked for my name at the end of the conversation so it became evident to me that he didn't even bother checking my reservation details. I asked for a copy of the recording and indicated that I was going to post an online review summarizing this incident and his attitude for a customer disputing a bill and gave him an opportunity to rectify the situation. Mr. Gallant (possibly an owner or officer of this company) wrote back saying he was going to sue me for slander and libel, which is ridiculous because I didn't state anything false and my statement that he was rude/curt is an opinion. If he provides me the initial recording proving me wrong (which is highly unlikely) or refunds me for the 2 additional hours, I will edit this review to reflect that. Buyer beware.
