The WEDDING DJ

Denny is very quick to respond and he will give you a lot of resources in order to make your song selections. My reason for my ratings however has to do with the day of our wedding. Brides, make sure he knows this is your day and that he and all other vendors were hired to make you happy and do as you want done on your day. If you have a wedding planner let him know that they are there to do their job and he doesn't need to do it for them. Also, be sure that he knows what songs are to be played when. My girls were supposed to walk out to the same song as me and my dad and I were going to walk out at a certain point in the song. At the rehearsal I asked several times if he would play the song when the girls walk out (because he kept playing a different song when they went) and I was told 'don't worry, tomorrow it will all be right' but it wasn't. He also told my wedding party they were going to stand during all 3 of the first dances for the night (first dance, m/s dance and f/d dance) without consulting me first. I've been in plenty of weddings and my face and my feet would have been giving the bride dirty looks if she had me do that in 3" heels! When I let him know I didn't want them to do that he said, ok but the more interruptions we have the longer it's going to take for me to get out there and do introductions! So as I said, make sure he is clear on the timeline, songs, and setup that YOU want on YOUR day. If you do that, you should be good to go.

We used Denny for our wedding reception and I would recommend him to anyone! He has a lot of experience with weddings and was able to help us determine a "time line" for the reception as well as providing a list of songs for our approval before the event. He was great to work with and made our reception very enjoyable!

Denny made our reception great! The music was fantastic, and he had all our guests out on the dance floor, busting a move. He also did a fantastic job organizing all the essential reception events, so we had nothing to worry about. We went in without much of an idea what needed to happen in a reception, and what music to use, and Denny was great about helping us figure all that out. He worked in all our most special songs, and gave us a fantastic, worry-free day to celebrate with our family and friends. Denny, thanks for memories that will last a lifetime!
